registration and attendance policy

To register for and attend Claris Engage 2025 (the "Event"), you are required to accept and abide by all the terms and conditions outlined in this registration and attendance policy (“Attendance Policy”). If you do not agree with these terms and conditions, you will not be able to register for or participate in the Event.

Registration

Event registration is not complete until full payment is received. Discounts are not earned unless full payment is received. Each ticket to attend the Event offers one individual access to the event(s) as detailed below.

Tickets may not be sold, resold, bartered, auctioned, or transferred in any way other than as stated in this Attendance Policy. Claris reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel tickets (for example, if an attendee does not adhere to this Attendance Policy).

Location

The Event will take place at Apple Austin Campus in Austin, Texas, USA. You are responsible for transportation to and lodging for the Event. Claris reserves the right to change venues due to weather, capacity, or any other issues, without notice and without liability.

Claris is not liable or responsible for obtaining any visas for attendees or for any related appeals. Attendance at the Event is prohibited for residents of embargoed countries, individuals ordinarily residing in embargoed countries, or individuals otherwise prohibited by applicable export controls and sanctions programs.

Badges

In order to receive admission to the Event and obtain an Event badge, all attendees will be required to present a valid passport or other government-issued identification (copies will not be accepted) that matches the name on the ticket. The Event badges may contain NFC or other RFID technologies to help us check in and serve attendees.

You must always wear your Event badge, unless otherwise permitted by Claris. You will be required to show valid identification to check in for certain portions of the Event. If requested by security, attendees may be required to provide additional identification.

Event badges (or any part thereof) are not replaceable or transferable. You agree not to share, transfer, give, or otherwise provide your badge to anyone else.

Claris is not responsible for any badges or property that is lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed at the Event. Your badge may be invalidated by Claris if any portion has been removed or defaced, or Claris suspects that you have altered your badge.

Code of conduct

Claris International Inc. (“Claris”) is committed to diversity and to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone. All attendees must have the right to a safe and welcoming environment regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, or any other attributes. In addition to treating others respectfully, please do not bring items with disrespectful, malicious, or sexually explicit writing, images, or audio to the conference.

Claris reserves the right to refuse admittance to or remove any person from the Event at any time in its sole discretion, including but not limited to attendees behaving in an inappropriate, disorderly, disrespectful, or dangerous manner, or failing to comply with this Attendance Policy. By attending the Event you agree to not make audio or video recordings of any conversations you have with Claris team members at the Event without prior written approval from Claris. All attendees must follow instructions, rules, and safety signage. If you have an experience that violates this code of conduct, visit the Claris booth and ask for a manager.

Cancellation

Registrations and training classes for Claris Engage 2025 cannot be canceled and are non-refundable. If a registered attendee is unable to attend, they will be considered a "no-show" and will be charged the full registration fee with no refund provided. However, prior to February 21, 2025, the original registrant may request a paid registration transfer to another person within the same company by sending an email to engage2025@claris.com.

Special needs

An attendee with special needs or other reasonable requirements must email engage2025@claris.com no later than February 21, 2025, and before travel arrangements are made. Claris will try to accommodate your request, but special needs and requests cannot be guaranteed.

Recording and photography

The use of audio or video recording devices or cameras by attendees is prohibited at all Claris Engage 2025 events, sessions, classes, including the opening keynote, after-party, and Claris Expo.

Film and Video Consent

Photographs, audio and/or video taken at the Event by Claris, or others on behalf of Claris, may include your voice, image or likeness. You agree that Claris may use such photographs, audio and/or video, including those that may contain your voice, image or likeness, for any purpose on a worldwide basis in perpetuity, without any compensation to you, and you release Claris from all liability related thereto.

Pre-release Information

Claris agrees that you may discuss technical information about pre-release Claris software or services disclosed by Claris at the Event, except that you may not post screenshots, write public reviews, or redistribute any pre-release Claris software or services. As a reminder, any sample code or pre-release Claris software provided to you by Claris during the Event is subject to the license agreement accompanying the software. Pre-release Claris software is Claris Confidential Information.

Presentations

Presentations at the Event will be in English.

Registration and Attendee information

All registration and attendee information you provide for the Event will be treated in accordance with our Claris Privacy Policy.

Minors

No one under 18, including infants, will be admitted to any Event activities.

Competitive activities

Seminars, classes, and other meetings for attendees at the Event hotel/site are prohibited three days prior through three days after the Event dates.

Miscellaneous

Claris reserves the right to alter announced content, speakers, schedule, attendee materials, and all other elements without notice or obligation. Claris reserves the right to cancel at any time with sole obligation to refund paid registration fees.

During the pre-registration and on-site registration periods, Claris reserves the right to refuse admittance to anyone for any reason, such as upon review of professional credentials or websites or for no reason.

Health and Safety Protocols

The following measures are in place in order to help ensure the health of everyone at the event.

  • Hand sanitizer will be available.
  • Surfaces and high-traffic areas are cleaned regularly.
  • Masks are currently optional and available upon request.
  • There is no mandatory minimum physical distance.
  • If you’ve tested positive for COVID-19 within the last 5 days or are currently experiencing symptoms, we ask that you take care at home.

Medical Assistance

A medical technician will be on call throughout the Event for non-emergency medical assistance only. By attending, you give your consent to receive emergency medical care, if needed, should you sustain any injury or become ill while attending the event. You agree that you are responsible for the cost of any emergency medical care provided.

Security

Every precaution will be taken to ensure that the Event is a safe and secure environment for attendees. Security guards will be present during the Event. You’ll need to complete an onsite security screening before entering the campus. Please note that Claris reserves the right to conduct security searches and refuse admission as needed.

For the safety and comfort of all attendees, the following items are not permitted:

  • Professional cameras and recording equipment
  • Alcohol
  • Any item considered to be dangerous or hazardous, including but not limited to weapons (including firearms, knives, pepper spray, tasers)
  • Flammable, corrosive, or toxic substances
  • Narcotics and controlled substances

Lost and found

If a personal item is lost, contact engage2025@claris.com or visit the reception staff on the first floor of the lobby. Please note that you're responsible for your belongings during the special event and Claris accepts no responsibility for any personal property.

Emergencies

For emergency services (fire, medical, police), find a uniformed security guard or event ambassador. In case of fire, walk to the nearest safe dispersal area as instructed. Should an earthquake occur, remain calm and take cover under a stable object. Face away from glass, unstable objects, and tall structures. Remain where you are until the shaking stops and await further instruction.

Release

I hereby release and agree to hold Claris and its officers, directors, and employees harmless from any causes of action, claims, or demands that may arise in any way from my participation in this Event.
