Problem Solvers Circle is a bundle program that brings everything Claris together for you – all under one simple licensing plan. You get:
- Access to Claris FileMaker for all your users, including employees, temps, contractors, and consultants.
- Unrestricted web and mobile use.
- Access to new Claris Studio.
- Claris Connect Standard license.
- White-glove onboarding assistance to ensure a quick start.
Problem Solvers Circle includes all of the following:
- Claris FileMaker Annual Site License Agreement (ASLA) for all your users — employees, temporary employees, contractors, and consultants. This includes access to Claris FileMaker Pro, Claris FileMaker Go, and Claris FileMaker WebDirect for apps hosted on Claris FileMaker Server. It even supports anonymous users through FileMaker Go and FileMaker WebDirect.
- Claris Connect Standard license (see Claris Connect FAQ section for details).
- 2 GB outbound data transfer of Claris FileMaker Data API per user, per month (inbound data transfer is unlimited).
- Developer tools, including the iOS App SDK, Claris FileMaker data migration tool, and Claris FileMaker custom app upgrade tool.
- Claris Studio is our new cloud-native development environment in the Claris platform that allows you to collect, view, and analyze all of your business data. Build rich app experiences with multiple views of your information and two-way data interaction between Claris Studio and FileMaker Pro. View your data as a spreadsheet, list-detail, kanban board, and dashboard. Then organize a collection of views into hubs and share with your team. An Annual Site License Agreement (ASLA) provides every person (employees, temps, contractors, and consultants) in your organization a license for Claris FileMaker software. Clients who have annual site licenses value the ability to license all their employees and staff. This agreement removes any scalability issues associated with adding more users or encouraging other teams or departments to explore FileMaker as an option for their problem-solving needs. Problem Solvers Circle offers the choice of a one-year, two-year, or three-year annual site license term. You can choose which time frame works best for your organization.
The Claris Customer Success team is pleased to offer Problem Solvers Circle participants exclusive white-glove onboarding assistance for initial setup, installation, and connectivity. This service is available in English only and for customers who are not currently working with Claris Partners. For questions or assistance after initial onboarding, contact Customer Support.

The price of Problem Solvers Circle applies to the term you select: one, two, or three years.

Anonymous Users FAQs
Anonymous users don’t require a username or password (login credentials or authentication) and can access a form or app without having to sign in. Anonymous users are typically end-users who access web forms to submit information for surveys, event registrations, and other cases where you want to collect information from one-time or infrequent users. Anonymous users are also referred to as guest accounts.
Follow these steps to set up anonymous users:
- Open a database in FileMaker Pro.
- Go to the File menu > Manage > Security
- Enable the Guest account.
- Configure FileMaker Server to allow anonymous users: fmsadmin set serverconfig securefilesonly=false
Claris Studio also supports anonymous users. Watch this video to learn more.
Follow these steps to set up access privileges:
- Open the database in FileMaker Pro.
- Go to the File menu > Manage > Security > Privilege sets
- Customize a limited access privilege set.
- Set the Guest account to use the limited access privilege set.
NOTE: Never give a guest account full access to your database.
Under the Annual Site License Agreement in Problem Solvers Circle, anonymous users can access apps hosted on Claris FileMaker Server 19.x via Claris FileMaker Go and Claris FileMaker WebDirect.

The initial price will be determined by Claris based on your current or most recent annual contracts (pricing will start at a minimum of five users), or equivalent annual price if you have perpetual contracts, and will apply for the initial Annual Volume License term. You can purchase a one-year, two-year, or three-year license. After the initial term ends, you can choose to renew your Annual Volume License at the then current Annual Volume License price, convert to another Claris licensing program, or terminate your licenses.

Claris Connect FAQs
This cloud-based integration technology lets you sync data between popular apps you use every day. Integrate your cloud and on-premise apps, and easily automate the flow of data between apps and systems in your tech stack.
Use prebuilt connectors between popular business apps or utilize webhooks to create custom integrations for sharing information in real time between virtually any online service. Manage marketing leads, track customer service tickets, facilitate orders, and more.
The Claris Connect Standard licensing plan includes 50,000 API requests per month, no limit to the number of active flows, and no limit to the number of standard apps and Claris FileMaker apps you can connect at the same time. It also includes access to all standard connectors, all standard features, webhooks, 30 days of flow history, and 24/7 support in English.
A connector is a prebuilt integration workflow between software or systems that shares data between apps or data sources. For example, Claris Connect has connectors to integrate Box, Slack, DocuSign, and much more. For an up-to-date list of available connectors, visit Claris Connect App Directory.
Unlike Claris FileMaker, Claris Connect is not sold on a per user basis as there are no end users of the product.
It’s a workflow that connects two or more apps or utilities. A flow consists of one trigger that initiates one or more actions.
