In addition to connecting cloud apps and services, Claris Connect comes with an agent to connect your on-premise applications and databases. Use the agent to integrate your MySQL data or your custom apps hosted on FileMaker Server.

Step data helps you visually construct your automations. It’s the actual data returned from a previous step in a flow that can be easily used as input for subsequent flow steps.

Organize a set of related flows into projects. Categorize your flows by connectors such as “FileMaker flows” and “Eventbrite to Mailchimp flows” or by approvals and schedules.

Invite team members to collaborate with you on projects. Get visibility into who’s working on each project in real time.

Schedule when you want your flows to run. Set a specific date and time or pick a time interval (seconds, minutes, hours, or days) to trigger your flows.

For steps that require human approval, trigger an email to send to the necessary personnel, prompting them to grant or deny permission to continue the workflow.

If a specific connector doesn’t exist, use webhooks to connect to third-party APIs. Webhooks are data and executable commands sent from one app to another via HTTP requests.

Use conditional if-then statements, repeat steps, and variables to automate more complex workflows.

To avoid unnecessary stoppages in your workflows, Claris Connect uses auto-replay to automatically retry failed actions to help keep errors, timeouts, or app outages from getting in the way of your flow.

Keep track of changes to your flows. Versions give you a snapshot of rich information like date and time of modification, creator's email, and an automatically-generated description of what you changed. Easily restore your flow to a previous version if your requirements change.

See behind the curtain with the history tab. Access a detailed record of all of your workflow actions to uncover whether or not a flow step has failed. Easily diagnose issues and debug flows.
